The Let’s Go Forward module will propose volunteering activities for migrants in the field of recreational initiatives, social assistance and the promotion of cultural heritage. They will be matched with local people in order to constitute mixed working groups.

Volunteering activities and the engagement of local communities contribute to the social orientation of newly arrived migrants in different aspects of their daily life, facilitating the creation of social and cultural exchanges and strengthening capacities in different areas of expertise.

 

The objectives of this work plan are:

 

- Develop volunteer activities involving local communities with the aim of facilitating the social orientation and active participation of migrants in the host society.

 

- Help migrants develop new skills through volunteer activities.

 

- Promote strong interactions between the local population and newly arrived migrants.

 

- Guarantee a high social impact and a multiplier effect in all the participating countries.
